A welcome from our Chief Executive

A staple is a small thing. So is a heartbeat. Both hold something important together, and both are noticed only when they stop. For more than 70 years, we have made sure that one of them never does.

Every staple we make passes through hands that care, from the press operators of Plant 1 to the engineers who argue, at length and with diagrams, about the ideal angle of a point. Our customers never think about our staples, and we consider that the highest compliment a fastening can receive.

Whether you are a customer, a partner, a shareholder or simply someone who has paused, mid-staple, to wonder who made it: thank you for visiting. You are holding a part of our story together.

Our three divisions

Manufacturing

Plant 1 runs around the clock, forming, coating and stripping four million staples a day on presses maintained with the devotion other companies reserve for their founders. Every strip is checked for crown width, leg length and point geometry before it is allowed to leave.

Retail

From our trade counters to our online store, we put the right staple in the right hands. Staple Club, our loyalty scheme, lets more than 220,000 members collect points towards free boxes of staples: a reward they have chosen freely, and often.

Services

Our field engineers install, service and lovingly maintain stapling equipment in offices, print rooms and warehouses across the country, backed by maintenance contracts that one customer described as “very thorough”.
